Single-source Wikipedia report that Salahuddin Ayub was detained at Kajang Prison in 2001 in connection with his alleged involvement in an illegal assembly — Ops Cricket Israel — at University of Malaya in 1997.N1
Status: Reported as a detention by a single source; no charge, conviction, acquittal, dismissal or pardon recorded in the file.
The file establishes a 24-year electoral career with consistent wins after 2004, a verified move from PAS to AMANAH in 2015, and two ministerial appointments in PH and Unity governments before July 2023. Only one single-source detention (Kajang, 2001) appears in the integrity record, with no charges, convictions, acquittals or pardons documented; corporate, asset, regulatory and broader media checks are not covered by the records provided and should be obtained before relying on the file for risk decisions. Overall risk attention is high because of the ministerial offices held, not because of any documented wrongdoing in the record.
