Candidate · P59 Sungai Siput (1995)
Three electoral contests are documented for Lim Ah Guan (Lim Soon Guan), and all three ended in losses: the 1986 Perak state seat N16 Jalong as an Independent (BEBAS), the 1995 Perak state seat N19 Jalong under DAP/Gagasan Rakyat, and the 1995 federal seat P59 Sungai Siput under DAP/Barisan Alternatif. The records show a shift in party alignment between elections, from Independent in 1986 to DAP (and its coalitions) by 1995. The records do not establish any period in office, any policy positions, or any matters relating to integrity, legal status, or finances.
